2010 SERVE PREVIEW

Forest Hill's global focus for the next five years will be central Africa. We hope to bring Biblical reconciliation and empowerment to the people of a region devastated by genocide, civil wars, disease, corrupt leadership, and illiteracy.

PHASE 1 FUNDING SECURED
On Christmas Eve, and offering was taken to fund the construction of a reconciliation Center in Burundi. The Center will bring pastors and other leaders from all over Africa together to be trained in reconciliation, teaching them the love of Christ so they can be forgiven and the forgive one another, ceasing the senseless cycle of genocide and revenge killing.

We're happy to report the Christmas Eve offering for the Center totaled $158,500. The total estimated cost of Phase 1 for the Reconciliation Center is $176,000. Combining the $20,000 Forest Hill has budgeted towards the Center, with the $158,500 given on
Christmas Eve, Phase 1 funding has been fully secured!

Forest Hill is humbled by the generosity of our congregation,
particularly during difficult economic times.

Trevor & Yvette Botha
Yvette and I came to London in 2001 and 2002 respectively. We
met at church through mutual friends and got married on 16 October 2004. Our boy, Micah
got born on 16 October 2006 and Monet, our little girl, on 8 October 2008.

We have both been serving at Every Nation London since we’ve been married. I have been serving as Mission’s director and Yvette set
up the new charity Every Nation Ministries.

In the early part of 2007 we felt God speak to us clearly about planting a new church in Belgium.
We are currently Pastoring a church in Slough - one of the new congregation from Every Nation London.

We are planning to move to Belgium in the summer of 2010 to start the new
church in Gent.
